As of late, there have been many reports of maid abuse in Malaysia. This is seen as a serious offence. But abuse here takes a fairly literal meaning - beating up, starving, locking up indoors and every other bad thing that you might not want to have to face yourself. However, control and moderation are the key words in handling your maid. Being friendly is fine, but being too nice may get you in more trouble than you might think.
